What to Expect from my Blog

I won’t bore you too much with this post. I mean, how many of you will actually read this. In case you do, though, I thought I’d give you a heads up on what to expect from my blogs.

Homeschooling/Parenting
Homeschooling five kiddos, you tend to learn a thing or two. Although I fail often, I have learned from my mistakes and those of others. My hope is that my failures might be your successes. Besides that, everyone loves a good story to make their day. I have plenty of funny adventures to share with you, so you know you’re not the only crazy parent out there.

Book Parties/Book Reviews
Book parties are our new love. I can never do them as an adult. It seems that a mother reading only fantasy and science fiction genres never quite fits in with the rest of the mothers. But I love enkindling that love for reading for my kids and others. I will be posting a book party series (in a variety of genres) with fun activities and foods that you can celebrate the book with. Our parties are always super fun, and I hope you enjoy them, too.

Writing
Being an aspiring author, I hope to help any others that are going through the same process. I’ve been writing for half my life and studying the craft vigorously. I may not be a Donald Maass or Steven King, but maybe my journey can help you.

Well, that just about sums it up. Besides all that, maybe you’ll see a blog or two about the adorable animals we foster. But who doesn’t love seeing precious baby animals?
